Roasted potatoes are a great side dish to throw together if you’re in a pinch. Potatoes of all kinds are generally dirt cheap, and they are filling enough to satisfy a large crowd. Making them delicious is all about the way you cut the potatoes as well as the spices. But, once you master this recipe, you’ll be able to whip them up at the drop of a hat.

Instructions

  1.  Start by setting the oven to 400F.
  2. Depending on how much of a time crunch you are in will depend on how small to cut the potatoes. If you want them done in about 15 minutes, cut them into flat sheets and then proceed to dice them into small cubes.
  3. If you have a bit more time, you can cut them as thick or as thin as you want.
  4. Put them on a parchment lined baking sheet and pour over olive oil a few tablespoons at a time depending on how many potatoes you’re using
  5. Sprinkle over salt, garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, a little cumin, red chili flakes, and a bit of oregano.
  6. Bake in the oven until the potatoes are soft in the middle but a crunchier exterior.
  7. Enjoy!
