Wendy’s is making our crumbed chicken morsel fantasies come true, and, in a way, Chance the Rapper is responsible.
Let us explain.
Back in May, the “No Problem” artist realised that he was not the man who has everything because Wendy’s had not yet chosen to bring back its spicy chicken nuggets to its menu.
The item was pulled from the franchise in 2017 and chicken lovers like Chance have been in mourning ever since.
The rapper tweeted, “Positive Affirmations for today: I WILL have a good day, I Will succeed today, Wendy’s WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today.”
It may not have been that day, but it prompted Wendy’s to offer bringing back the item for 2 million likes, and 2.2 million later, here we are!
With August 12th marking the big day that spicy nuggets were re-introduced, Wendy’s is now affording the opportunity to win 2 million of the babies!
For the entire week between August 12th and 19th, free nuggets can be yours by ordering a six-piece nugget portion from through DoorDash and entering the code “SPICYNUGGS” when you check out.
