Picking up a rotisserie chicken at your grocery store is quite convenient. You don’t have to go through the hassle of preparing it while getting a satisfying meal. However, you do have to reheat it when you get home if you don’t want to eat cold or lukewarm chicken. Here are the best ways to do so.

Oven

Reheating rotisserie chicken in an oven takes longer, but it arguably gives the best results. The oven will reheat the rotisserie chicken evenly without drying it out. Place the rotisserie chicken on a deep baking sheet or pan and pop it into a preheated oven at 350 F for 25 minutes. To get even better results, pour some water or chicken broth into the pan and cover the rotisserie chicken with aluminum foil. You can remove the foil towards the end if you want crispy chicken skin.

Air Fryer

If you are in a hurry and have an air fryer, then that’s the way to go. Place the rotisserie chicken in the air fryer basket and set it to 350F. Let it cook for four to five minutes, depending on the size of the chicken, and you’re good to go.

Microwave

When you don’t have an air fryer and still want quick results, you can turn to your microwave. Place the rotisserie chicken in a sturdy microwave-safe dish, crank up the microwave to high, and let it spin in 30-second intervals. It might take up to 10 minutes for the microwave to do its job, but make sure to check the chicken every minute to get the optimal results.
