Bell peppers are a great ingredient to use in any way you can. What is not widely known about them is that every color, red, green, yellow, and orange, are actually the same type of pepper just picked at different times! They actually do have different tastes and even different nutritionalĀ information. For example, red peppers, since they have been on the vine the longest, have 10 times more beta-caroteneĀ than green peppers, and 1.5 times more vitamin C. However, all types of peppers have both these vitamins along with B6 and many more. Peppers are perfect for any time of the day, so try using them in one of these recipes!
