VineyardBaker Makes Bread That’s (Almost) Too Good to Eat

There’s nothing more satisfying than bread that’s fresh out of the oven and VineyardBaker is proving to us that taste isn’t the only sense that bread awakens. On her Instagram page, VineyardBaker has bread that’s literally works of art and bakers all over the world are taking note of the bread art trend.

VineyardBaker’s Instagram reads, “Putting the Art in Artisan Breads, WARNING: : this site contains gluten,” and she’s definitely making bread into beautiful works of art.

Her breads are completely edible and the flower designs are made from cut-up sliced vegetables and chives.

To create your very own bread art start by using a basic tomato herb focaccia and substituting the tomatoes for capers, kalamata olives, peppers, grape tomatoes, and fresh herbs.

VineyardBaker recommends waiting for the dough to rise before pressing the vegetables into the bread and if you’re using wet vegetables, pat them dry after you slice them. This will help prevent your bread from getting soggy.

The Instagrammer’s work isn’t limited to nature motifs. In addition to flower-topped focaccia, she makes sourdough bread with intricate patterns and fun shapes like football pretzel rolls, that she whipped up for the Super Bowl.
