How to Motivate Yourself to Drink More Water

Water is truly the key to a healthy body. Your body needs water to help your body function, and most people don’t get enough of it throughout the day. If you’re one of these people, there are so many ways to get yourself to drink an adequate amount water each day.

Morning

The first thing you should do in the morning to make sure you get hydrated fast is to drink a glass of water right when you get up. If you need to, keep this on your nightstand so you don’t forget. Your body gets really dehydrated during the night, so this will get your body moving and will actually make you feel more awake!

Smoothies

If you feel like you’ve had enough water for the day, make a smoothie instead! Not only will the fruits and veggies you use provide water, you can also put in water as the liquid in order for the blender to get a little help.

Infusions

If you’re someone who hates the taste of water, there are many ways to fix that. Put in your favorite herbs and fruits into your water like mint, melon, berries, citrus, or even cucumber and other vegetables to make your water taste more like a treat than a necessity.
