Nothing beats a crisp fall morning when it’s the weekend and you can relax over breakfast with your family. Those lovely morning rituals can almost guarantee you’ll have a good and relaxing day. If you want to have a delicious breakfast in the most simple way, try this waffle recipe that requires no effort, just half an hour and a blender. Everybody loves waffles, so you can’t go wrong with this no matter who you’re making it for! Disclaimer: you will need a waffle maker.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Put all of the ingredients in the blender. Blend until you get a smooth batter.
  2. Let it sit for 15 minutes, while preheating the waffle iron in the meantime.
  3. Pour the batter into your waffle maker and close it. Let it cook on one side, and when it’s ready, flip it onto the other side.
  4. Once the waffle is nice and cooked, you’re done! Take it out of the waffle iron and top it with powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, berries, or anything else you can think of! Heck, some people even put fried chicken on their waffles, so have at it.
