Are your mornings a huge rush, with never enough time to make something robust for breakfast to keep you functioning at your best?

Well, we’ve got a delicious answer for you. Put together this dish the night before, and all you have to do is pop it in the oven in the morning for a cooked breakfast. Serve in wedges for breakfast, or even as a lunch or dinner dish, with steamed vegetables or a salad.

Ingredients

1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix

1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

2 cups milk

1 ½ teaspoons ground mustard

½ teaspoon dried oregano

6 eggs, lightly beaten

1 lb bulk pork sausage, cooked in a skillet until cooked through, and drained.

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for between 8 and 24 hours, no more.
  2. When ready to cook, heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Oil a 2-quart casserole, and pour in the egg, cheese, and sausage mixture.
  4. Bake, uncovered, for around an hour. After an hour, push a knife into the center of the bake. If it comes out clean, your bake is done.
