This Gluten Free Pancake Recipe Is The Best

For those of us embarking on gluten free diets, it can feel hard knowing that we’re missing out on many of the best treats and baked goods. Luckily, with this recipe, missing out on delicious, fluffy pancakes is one worry you won’t have. These are so good, that even people who aren’t eating gluten free will happily scoff the lot! Whether you top them with sweet or savory treats, this is one recipe you’ll be returning to again and again.


  • 2 cups of plain gluten free flour
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter


  1. In a large mixing bowl, sift in the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder and mix well.
  2. Make a large well in the center, and whisk in the eggs.
  3. Whisk in the milk and the oil, beat the mix to ensure there are no lumps.
  4. Heat a little butter in a skillet and pour in one ladle of batter, fry until browned on both side. Continue until you’ve used all of the batter.
  5. Serve the pancakes immediately.

Fluffy, soft and totally delicious, no one will even know that these pancakes are gluten free!
