Here’s Why You Should Stop Drinking Fresh Juice Immediately

Fresh fruit juice is considered to be a healthy way to get your daily dose of vitamins, but that’s not exactly true. If you’ve been drinking fresh juice every day, especially in the morning on an empty stomach, you should stop doing that immediately. Here’s why.

While one orange contains around 45 calories, a nice tall glass of orange juice easily has 110 calories. And if you think that you’re better off with smoothies, know that they can easily add up to 500+ calories when you start adding ingredients.

Just because fruits and vegetables are good for you, doesn’t mean fresh juices are, too. When you turn fruits into juice, you’re actually leaving behind its healthiest parts – apple skin, raspberry seeds, etc. are what you should be consuming, while the juice is only slightly better than drinking plain water with sugar.

This definitely doesn’t mean that fruit is bad for you, but you should always eat it instead of turning it into juice. That way, you’ll get all the vitamins, minerals, and fibers out of it and actually reap the benefits that fruits come with.
